Darlington School

Darlington School is a non-denominational, co-ed school located in Rome, GA. Although it has a known religious affiliation, it does admit other students of other religious affiliations. Enrollees and faculty members are not only from this state: there are students from 17 different states currently enrolled. Founded in 1905, you’ll find this school to be very large compared to a regular school – 500 acres dedicated to the advancement of the members of the school. Because of this, it’s no wonder that the school has a total of 16 sports programs. From baseball, basketball, crew and wrestling, each student will find a suitable sports program. If the students can’t really find their forte in any of these sports, there are always clubs that they can consider.

Aside from the regular schedule of educational program of Darlington School, there are also other programs that will benefit the youth. The summer program of the school is exceptional. A 500 acre school can give more than a simple summer activity for the students. There are summer schools for scholars where they learn more and prepare better for college or for the upcoming school year. For students who just want to have some fun, there are day camp and overnight camp program where they will be closer to nature. There are a lot of activities waiting to be experienced and they are all geared to develop your child’s character and social involvement.

The yearly fee for students in Darlington School is on the average $34,000 – as expected from most boarding schools.
