Tallulah Falls School

Tallulah Falls School is a 500 acre school which was founded in 1909 and has annual acceptance rate of 50%. You may find this a little daunting but this school is not only dedicated in teaching the youths for what they will encounter and need in college but they’re preparing them to life after college. The school maintains a teacher student ration of 1:11 – enough to keep a community relationship with the students. They will be guided not only academically but in their community life as well. To maintain the quality of education, the number of students is kept to a maximum of only 142 boarding school students. They also accept day students but the number of students is only up to 30 for the entire campus.

The Tallulah Falls School is a co-ed school which distinguishes itself in the state of Georgia as the school that prepares the students for very challenging courses in college. The school focuses on Biology, Chemistry and Calculus AB as their Advanced Placement course. Aside from that, the school also has intensive programs in preparation for college. In their sophomore or junior year, they take the PSAT to gauge their knowledge. Even before they take their SATs they undergo rigid reviews with the help of their professors and the available tools such as software for this purpose. This dedication to college education has helped students get into prestigious colleges all over the country.
