is a beautiful school found about seventeen miles from Boston,
in a residential neighborhood of Natick,
Massachusetts. This is an
independent, coeducational, boarding and day secondary school that teaches the
arts from grades 9 – 12. The age of the students here are naturally 13 -18.
Walnut
Hill School
teaches intensive arts training in creative writing, visual art, theater, music
and ballet in addition to a rigorous academic curriculum in all
college-preparatory subjects. A student has to get a minimum of 16 credits to
graduate from Winston Hill where a minimum of 4 academic credits have to be
completed every year at the school. Students failing to pass a course in the second
semester of senior year cannot graduate.
Students who wish
to enter Walnut Hill School
have to show their prior credits applied to the diploma requirements. Once the
Academic Dean and the appropriate department heads approve these credentials,
the student has to complete the courses according to its requirements. International
students too have to fulfill these requirements and pass the TOEFL.
