More Information on New Hampshire

Many students choose White Mountain School because we are small. Many others choose us because we have a fantastic outdoor program. They all choose White Mountain first for our academic program – a comprehensive, discussion-based and student-centered program.

Students are encouraged to recognize that all parts of the world they experience are interrelated. They are provided with opportunities to discover more fully their own identities in that world by strengthening their bonds with other students, the wider community in which the campus is located, and the natural environment itself.

The complementary nature of the core curriculum and support curriculum places a premium both on structured, disciplined learning and on relatively unstructured, but organized, activities that encourage students to meet new challenges with confidence and inner strength
